Crossfit consumed the entire evening’s conversation.
What's your deadlift? Can you do a muscle up? How many pull ups can you get? Show me the picture on your phone of you in a handstand. Where do you train? How often do you train? How elite would you say you are on a scale of 1 to 10? Annie or Julie? Is that a bruise on your clavicle? Do you watch Mobility Wod? Do you wear gloves? Do you have a garage? Do you know anyone with a garage? What's your Fran time?
Holy shit balls.
I like CrossFit. I pretty much like everything about CrossFit. If you’ll listen, I’ll talk about CrossFit all day long. But here's the thing…I also like other things besides CrossFit.
I like music, good wine, running, rock climbing, travelling, pretty much anything active or outdoorsy, brunching with my friends, beaching, reading and window shopping for overpriced handbags.
Once in a while, I’ll eat a meal that isn't strictly paleo.
Tomorrow is my rest day. It’s the one day of the week I won’t be up at 4am. So I'll be having a glass of wine this evening.
CrossFit is a big part of my life. It's not my entire life.
Hey, Mr CrossFit - Do you have anything interesting to say that’s not about CrossFit? Thought not.
We wrapped up early. Ordinarily I'd be a little disappointed - until I remembered I was on a date with a CrossFitter.
He'd better go home and rest. He'll be up at 4am trying to beat my Fran time ;-)
